When I slice samples in the 1K then convert them and assign to pads I lose sound quality TREMEDOUSLY can anyone help??

this issue of "quality loss when chopping" is always getting posted
while something is in fact lost when chopping on os 2.01, it's not "quality."
the poster is misunderstanding what he or she is hearing.
it's that the sample only chops in MONO sound even if you're chopping a stereo source. try it - chop a mono file and note that there is no "quality" lost whatsoever. why? because there is a bug in no-s 2.01 that converts all chopped samples to mono from stereo.
