HELPP HELP HELP MPC WONT GOOO!!!

hello,

last night i was playing with my mpc running jj os 4.55 which i just only upgraded from 4.50 and as soo as i upgraded i notice only sound was coming out of my right earphone.

so i decided to done grade back to 4.50 using the eathod throw the load function. every thing went fine it told me to switch off then switch on.

when i switched the mpc on the lcd lights up but nothing happends.
iv tryed switching it on holding "window" key still nothing happened.

i thought it mite have been the contrast but nothing at all comes up.

can someone help me??? i miss my mpc.

try the reset function( i forgot the keys comby, i think it s in the manual,
and for suro in the forum.)

Also remember that the contrast is adjusted with stop+wheel now.

Hmmm reset function keys???

iv tryed stop + wheel and it didnt do anything. . also i tryed: hold erase + turnon todo reset and that didnt do anything either. .

man im starting to get a little panicy not sure whats up with this thing.

Try rebooting whilst holding down the WINDOW key with the CF inserted and the OS .bin file on it.

iv tryed that. still no gooo!!

i ve had similar symptoms whyle updating once, there was no sound,
but it was only bad settings, resetting them helped.... then
often it s a contrast prob when mpc boots, with lcd on but no letters...

what is happening actu with ur mpc ?? ac supply allright??? all other
cables off?? bad memory chips? what ram do u use?? do u have warranty?

could it be some kind of virus?

iv taken my memory out (because i thought that might help) unfortunately i dont have a warrenty. . i dnt think.

i turn my mpc on and the lcd lights up and thats it. none of the button combinations work ( hold window + turnon)(erase + turnon) (stop + wheel)

the this is just dead accept lcd glowing.

man! i just want my mpc togo i miss it soooo much

i have worked out that i have to reflash my mpc1kz eprom manually with a .bin file because obviously mine is corrupted. so hopefully ill be about to work out how, i know which chips they are just a matter on buildng a programmer.
