yeah this is a "production technique" question.

but since you asked it here i'll answer it here.
it's a tricky thing to recreate a stereo field but it makes sense once you think about it.

take 1 sample and copy it into 2.
put one on 1 pad
put the other on another pad.

either simult the pads together or play them together

pan one halfway left, the other halfway right

turn down one of them
add a trace of reverb to the turnde down one
gently filter the one you left full volume.

that's about the best you can do from in the mpc1000.

With the mpc itself you really cant do much for this. Try having 2 lfos modulating the signal with slightly different setting, turn them down so the effect is nearly inaudible.
For vst there are lots of "spacing"-fx, another way would be to eq the channels differently.
