who uses sonar with the mpc 2000

I can't get the sound in my mpc to play in sonar. I got everything hook up correctly is there a setting either in sonar or the mpc. Please help

Can you get any other sound to play/record? Try it with a cdplayer or mic or something. With most sequencers you have to arm the track for record, or push the direct monitor button on the track before you hear a live input.
