Then they need to step up they game, lol.
haha....
mono for drums on the MP, stereo for acoustic like guitar, strings, horns on the Triton Studio for me ....
hahah...
NAHH.. what im talkin is... not the peeps makin the tracks, but the peeps listenin.. the "buyin public" so the speak..
Or peeps who share earphones showin peeps tracks etc..
I was in streets showin some mans beats once a long while back.. and they wanted to share earphones and hear at the same time (and swap between each other.. was about 6 of them peeps)... but the jazz thing id chopped originally had trumpet panned HARD to one side and sax HARD to other side, so they was each only hearin half the instruments in the chops..
That was the main thing that made me realize about workin in mono..
Most hiphop is made in mono.. pete rock.. premo.. etc etc, most things involvin chopped samples... when things are panned its usually not a case of bein sampled in stereo... its a case of whats called 'panned stereo' where certain individual chops have been panned..
Which is a much much much better way to work when u workin with sampled sh!t etc etc etc
