is there another way to fit samples to a tempo

i bought my mpc 2500 a month ago and i am enjoying it but i am trying to figure out if there is a way to change the length of a loop to match the tempo of the sequence without using the patchphrase or timestrech feature they both sound horrible

is this possible? it really pisses me of that my boss 303 can do things that my mpc cant

im looking for a feature simular to the "fit to" thing in fruityloops

like the loop automatically matches the bpm of your sequence and the pitch gets higher if the the tempo is faster
