Ok this is weird. I'm tracking out my drums from the 2500 into PT all seperate. For some reason I was hearing this weird clicking and popping sound after the beat was tracked out. This was not happening while playing the beat inside the mpc. I dug a little deeper and I solo'd each of the instruments to see if it was coming from a specific track. It was. It was coming from the kick. So I decided to go back into the MP and replace that wav kick with a different one thinking it was the drum that was causing the issue. Loaded up a different kick...tracked the beat out all over again even putting the kick on a different output channel than I did the last time....solo'd each instrument again to see the same thing was happening on the same instrument. Theres no clipping going on either. So I began thinking it was the cable even though im using the same type of cables on each output. I switched it with one that there was no clicking/popping problem on, retracked out, same issue. So I figured 2 things out:

1. It wasnt the wav drum sample.
2. It wasnt the cable.

I'm completely lost. I even tried tracking out the cubase thinking pro tools could have been the problem but its doing the same thing.

Everything sounds great while its in the MP it just does this when Im syncing out to a DAW. I'm using the M-Audio 1814 interface. The AKAI OS that came on my MPC when I bought it a few days ago new. Anyone have any suggestions?

How about Latency? Make sure your using the correct ASIO driver for your interface and not the multimedia one cubase supplies.

Sounds to me like u just havent trimmed ur samples right which can cause things like this...

Also with ur kicks.. low pass filter them, so u filter the top end off... this would get rid of any clicks on the kicks etc
