diggin in sf bay area

any good spots you know of here that you like to go to? can be anywhere in the greater bay area

tons of thift stores and swap meet type things ... ive picked up big boxes of records of the side of the road a few times! (san francisco)

There a number of record shops on haight street (some over priced)

ameoba, rasputin, vinyl solution (san mateo), berkley has some misc record shops. Bside records (berkley)

google search or something ...

Yea, Haight St is worth a walk or two. Also look on Market between Haight and the Castro, there's one or two good spots as well.

And be sure to check out E.D.E's place in Fremont on the other side of the bay. He sure will give you the directions.

Go to the Lower Haight around Fillmore, and the Upper Haight by Ashbury. There are at least three places to find records in each area.

i forgot to mention GROOVES ... they got tons of shit.. dude that runs it is cool too, knowledable

if your just startin out in the bay you def gotta hit up the Telegraph strip in Berkley and the Haight strip in S.F.

then after you've raped and pillaged those spots hit up the mom and pop shops like EDE's in Freemont, Village Music in Mill Valley and there's a cool spot in North Beach a couple streets behind Broadway, can't remember the name.

remember let your fingers do the walking... pick up the yellow pages...
