highlighting more than one sample

is it possible to highlight more than one sample @ a time without using the whole function? say 3 or 4 pads or what have you. im running 5.11 btw. thanks in advance

with the whole function you can select a range maybe a1-b8 ,you can´t select something like a1 and a4 ,you have to do the operation with every single pad
