Telesis Backlights

I ordered a backlight for my MPC3000 from Telesis. I got my backlight in two days. I just thought I would share my good experience with you.

likewise mine was a good experience. got a mpc60 and s950 backlight from them. always good to bigup good businesses.

on the other hand i will take this opportunity to say that i would never buy anything from route 66 studios. i had a terrible experience with them. buyer beware.

are these the same color the units had back when they were in stock or are these just some random colors?

They're the same stock color. I ordered one from them a few months ago for my s2800 and for my s950. Telesis came through for me, so I highly recommend them as well.

I've had good and bad results...they keep their backlights real small and I once got one that wouldn't work for me because it was too small for the whole display...real annoying

I ordered a backlight for my 60ii and everything worked perfectly and when you call the they are very nice. I can see the screen soooooo much better. I would recommend it to anyone!

I'm waiting for mine in the mail at the moment. I'm in Australia so it's taking a while, but I can't wait to fix up my MPC. I'm sure it's making me blind at the moment with all the squinting.

I heard that the 60II is a reverse backlight. Is it easy to replace it? Can you post some simple instructions to do so? everything I've seen so far is for the 60 & not the 60II. Thanks in advance!!!

Mine was good if a little different from the original as far as the way it is wired up. Def. works well and looks great tho

Its not.

are they easy to replace? i need to replace the screen for my s950. if its easy, i'd rather do it myself. does the replacement come with instructions? if not, what does it require? does anyone have instructions for replacing s950 screen?

very easy, be sure not to take the screen off, just pull the old screen out, slide the new one in and solder the tails to the connects...voila
