Revisit: What's your number #1 feature request?

Add MORE EFFECTS!!!!!!!!!!!

The ability to add at least 4 effects per channel/bus/sound.

a good feature would be: when you have quantize on, such as 1/16th the soft key would say what you have selected instead of always just saying "TC"

i.e. I have 1/16ths on and the TC disappears and displays 1/16, or 1/8, 1/32......whatever you have selected. when it is off, the TC re-appears.


I hope this makes sense..........

the ability to hold down rec and step in a pad in the main screen.....................just like on the mpc2000xl

1) The ability to set the audio tracks back to midi tracks if I want
2) In the program screen, when scrolling through samples to assign to a pad, the samples to be listed alphabetically rather than in the order of loading.
3) And (I think this has been discussed before) track mute to mute the volume rather than midi, so unmuting a midi track brings back the sound immediately without having to wait for the next trigger note. (the audio tracks work like this)

Actually I like that fact that they appear in load order, here's why: say I've got a project with 50 or so samples loaded, now I go and load some new drums (e.g. kick1.wav, snare1.wav, snare2.wav, ohat.wav, chat.wav, tom1.wav, tom2.wav, tom3.wav, ride.wav, ridebell.wav)which I'm going to want to create a new program to put them in. If I've got to search for each one alphabetically through 60 odd samples it's is going to take a while. But if I know that because I loaded them all in one go then they will all be together I can instead press Mode+Pad 11 and use the Whole feature to set all my pads to the first sample I've just loaded, from there I can set each pad to the correct sample which is only a few clicks ways.

I hope I've explained that cleary because I think it really helps speed the process of loading & assigning samples.

bring back the pitch screen functions from 5.09 and put everything else from 5.12!!!

...just wanna a stable (even if limited) os.

¡Hola a todos!. I have an mpc2500 with the "alternative" OS (5.12) and I think that it needs, in the global edit, an option to select the layer 2, 3 and 4, and not only the 1 (ej. for asign samples). I think too that the chop (for make an patchedphrase) may be in stereo, and in the program edit would be an option to asign the "pan" of any of the layers (It would be very usefull to make "complex" sounds).

and it can be very usefull a "transpose" utility for 2 or more events in the grid edit (like the copy, move, paste). Is realy "tedious" to edit the notes one at the time!
