Akai Sample Format on CF?

Akai Sample Format on CF?

Does anyone know if a CF card with Akai format samples can be read by the 2.5k? I'd try it myself but the samples in question are on my work computer. I forgot to burn a CD before I left.

44/16 wav and akai snd are the files you speak of, I'm sure the 2500 can handle both formats.

I don't have a 2500, but I've placed those types of files on my cf MANY times and used them in my 2kxl with no problem.

I think it was Nicole that posted up an excerp from the 2500 manual (I don't have it on this laptop) but it stated all the previous mpc files that would work. You should check in that manual as well, or just do it when you get a chance.

That's from the manual. Depends on which format the samples on the Akai CD are I guess.
