have just received an mpc from ebay, my first one...im doing everything step by step from the manual...but theres seems to be no troubleshooting so i can find out why i cant do what i want.
im a bit unsure if this model is fully working...
it comes with a built in zip drive. Last night i saved my sounds to the zip (after formatting) and then today when i turned it on, i went to load them. it searched the disk, and said theres 4k of something on there
it searched all thru the names of sounds id assigned to differnt pads but kept saying file not found. If i skip one it stops at every file name and says not found, but if i skip all it seems to do nothing and i cant find my sounds.
im sure i saved them ok because it has the names and thinks 4k of something is on the disk.
Now have i got a bum zip reader or a bad zip disc?unfortunately i can only find one disc and its the one that came with it.
ive asked the seller but she was selling it for someone else, and doesnt know. says it was fully tested tho and worked perfectly.
any ideas of how i can load these sounds??? thanks
