Akai sys

so i know i should have been doing this for a while but here goes......

where do i get akaisys from and what are it's benefits? i'm assuming i get it from the akaipro website, but i didn't see it. i'd also assume that it is soft ware for my computer which integrates with my mpc. giving me a place to backup my files.......

p.s.-i tried a search, but the function seems to provide no help at all.

aksys is a software with which you can control akai samplers, e.g. create and edit programs but its only for S and Z series samplers as far as i understand. maybe it can be used with the mpc 4000 (??) but it does not work with other mpcs.

it works only with USB.
works with the following hardware :

- Akai S5000 sampler
- Akai S6000 sampler
- Akai Z4 sampler
- Akai Z8 sampler
- Akai MPC4000 sampler/drum machine
- Akai DSP 24 DTD/Digital Mixer
