As you have so graciously went into detail about the current presidents roll and why he and his administration are or arnt usefull, I have spoke of as in depth on the 500's lack of greatness.

its a gimmic to get more people to buy MPC's from a company that promises particular attributes for a machine they abbandon and create a new machine to continue that cycle. Just look it at the 500.

Toys? Please! The 500 has near identical operating functionality to any of its larger bretheren. Is it the screen? The 12 pads? Or the batteries?

I use a 500, and nothing else at all, and my shit is all over the place! I challenge you if you could honestly say a track on a 500 sounds any worse to a 100 for example.

And more to the point, why post something like that in the 500 forum? Expect us to go "oh hey, now that you mention it, the 500 is a toy, maybe we should throw it away"?

Ignore them completely. They hate that

my biggest gripe with the 500 is the screen. Its a tradeoff though, with a large screen you would probably get maybe 3 hours of use. Basically its just a little frustrating to use the 500 for major trimming, chopping etc. other than that, it is halfway intuitive

it is really handy to take on trips, to your gravy overnight shift job where you can sit and use it for hours, etc. Overall the machine is not bad, has its flaws that are inherent to portable devices. I will probably use mine for the next year or so, sell it for 3-500, and put that towards another machine.
