assignin samples to pads,, improvement in updates

When i assign samples to the pads in program page, it selects the first sample in the list everytime i go to the next pad, this is very frustrating especialy with large amounts of samples, is this changed in JJ os after 3.x???

wouldn't it be nice if it instead of the first, it continued from where you left off?

Is there any os update wich has this implemented?

i guess it could be usefull sometime.

in the meantime, with latest os you can scroll samples 10 by 10 by holding shift. much nicer than akai os when you have large amount of samples.

yeah. that gets the job done real fast. i just hit shift and give the data wheel a strong jog, like i'm spinning a bike wheel to let it go for a while.

maybe an idea :

- chop your sample
- f2 > convert to sliced samples
- go to save and save all of your chops
- go to load and then you can assign every sample very fast(if you got sample pad assign on)..

i mean it wouldn't matter because you are going to save your samples anyway, one way or another

Or you can just choose "Create new program: Yes" ^^

then you would have to scroll to every sound again in program mode...

ehm... dont get it. If you let it create a new program the chops are already assigned...

i misunderstood.. your right
