what up, ive owned a 2000 and a 60 sold em both to pay of some debt and am left with a studio of a couple pieces of gear (top notch gear) and no sequencer. was thinkin bout the 1K, but heard some stories that it has no swing function, what the deal is. i cant seem to find a solid answer anywhere on the internet and i dont know anyone whos risked buying a 1000, but i kind of want to be the first dood around here to rock it.
also, are all the folks here who own a 1000 mpc newbs (seems like it) or can anyone give me a rock solid sound to sound comparison between this MPC and any of the previous models (PLEASE!!! no wanna be internet know it all producers...im aware of the MV8000, MPC4000, Motif ES and all that other junk, thanks but no thanks).
and if you dont want to help thats cool, i probably wind up copping a used 2000XL if yall dont convinve me. 1.
