timestretching / BPM

I've bought an mpc1000 recently, after using a mpc 2000 for many years .Where the f-ck are those timestretching and BPM match functions,
or do they expect that we use a computer .

yep shuffles they[AKAI] expects all of us [1k users] to use a computer! Im tryin to move away from my pc I LOVE hardware!

I guess you didn't read enough about the MPC1000 before you bought it. Everybody is talking about the lack of timestreching. I hope you will find your way around this problem.

and what is this "BPM match functions" on the 2000? The 1000 dosn't have it, but human ears have this function build-in.
