MPC 3000 programs working on MPC 2000 classic

I used a friend of mines 3000 a couple of weeks ago went to load the programs up in my 2000 classic and it instantly brings up something about insert another disk or skip file,skip all. I find this strange because it's the only disk. The sequences load up fine,but pgm files don't work.Any suggestion?

Figured out what will work. Don't know why the programs wouldn't work straight from the 3000,like the manual said. I had to load each sound seperate to the correct pads(took forever to match them up right),then made a new pgm file.

Yeah I could do that. I still got mpc editor on my pc.I had thought about that,but was worried about corrupting the disk.Thanks for the suggeston.
