Hunting Season

And theres no game in sight...I've been searchin like crazy for a new 2000XL for a reasonable price and its been nothin but bad news for me. I found like 3 sites advertising it for 800 (i'd pay that) and all I get is "This product has been discontinued." I know its still findable, so without asking you guys to do my legwork, I would like to know if you guys got some info where I can grab one of these badboys. thanx

I'm really tryin to get a new one, man. I guess used is a route i could go, but preferably i'd like a brand new machine that I wont have to worry about what happened in its previous "life"

i was in your same boat and went the ebay route. got a good deal on one that was essentially brand new. but yeah, i couldn't find a good new price around anywhere. it seems like there was a week or two there where they were 900 and stuff at all the big stores, then poof!
