Looking for an MCD kit for mpc2000xl

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any info on where I can get a MCD kit for the 2000xl that is either not on back order or from a reliable place. I ordered a kit in Nov 2006 and am still waiting. I cant use my MPC due to the Click of Death and am wanting to use my MPC as soon as possible..3-4 months for delivery sounds insane to me and am frustrated that I haven't been able to use it for this long amount of time...Or, is there a "generic" card reader that is compatible... I am hoping that the proprietry drives aren't the only ones that can be installed...Any info would be appreciated...Thanks...

There are links on there for where to buy some. I bought mine from here which is linked from said page (haven't gotten it yet; anxiously awaiting its arrival). It's only ~$50--way cheaper than VST, plus it's listed as "IN STOCK".

I copped mine from ebay. It was more expensive, but I had it in 3 days.

I got mine from akai, came with everything, cables etc for $135.00 shipped, took less than a week.
