im not mental or anything, guitar center sells the 8000 for $1300 now new, so i was thinking about getting one since i already have a 1000 this could just stay in the studio

anyways if you we re gonna buy a 1000 why not just get a fresh mv 8000 for $400 more let me know what you all think

Wow, 1300$ thats cheap, lowest price in germany is 2000€, that would be 2700$.

on guitar centers site the only price i see is a grand more than that

ive heard tales of flexable pricing and talkin guitar center down, and folks workin there getting silly discounts never seen it tho.

i really like reinforced. i got a probably like 10 or so of their records. alpha omega/ colin lindon i think is his name has some of my favorite drum programming.

That is a good deal. I guess if you have the bread, get it. Im kinda partial to my 1k, but I finally got down on the Roland recently and its pretty ok. That thing is huge compared to the 1k. For me, all I need is the 1k. the Roland DOES read more files and has a built in hard drive. Its good for the stdio cuz you can easily import files via cd. Go play with the Roland and see if you like it.
