So...As of now, what are your thoughts on the MPC 500?

Haha yeah, the 505 has a 4 track sequencer.. You get your kick on one track, snare, hi hats, maybe an 808, and that's as far as you can go

yeah true, but the point i was making was that, it couldnt of been that expensive to implement some form of graphic wav edit. Especially considering how widely available the technology is...

so basically it's not a mouse

For half the price, you could buy an sp-606, which is atleast double as powerful as the mpc500. Probably one of the most slept on machines out there....

...I would own one, had i known that i could own one for the same price as my sp-404.

if it cost 200-300 then u should consider buying one
