Anybody knows how the Quantization function works when you record in Grid Edit mode, recording drums step by step?
On the MPC seems be different as when you use the drumstick in Cubase.
In cubase when you use the Drumstick the drums are quantized, you're putting them in the exact positions.
The strange thing is when you export a midi file it's already quantizated, but not if you record the file directly in cubase.
I tried to record a sequence in cubase and some beats where not quantized, I tried again after doing a Timing Correct in the MPC and everything was in place.
