Assinging samples to pads

FOR THE 1K : How do you assign a sample to a pad after its been recorded and saved? Lets say you record a sample then trim it and then you extract the sample as a new sample. What do you do to assign it to one of your pads in a program.

go to mode+pad 7 to get to program mode, and press the pad u want the sample to be on (might have to create a new program if u don't want it on the current program or have no empty pads)

now just get to a blank pad while in the first window of program mode. and make sure u are in the sample field on layer 1, and just turn the jog heel till u get to ur sample. not you will be going thru all the samples in the memory so if u have a lot of programs loaded then the more samples u'll have to look thru.
