@PSProductions

The MPC 2000XL has timestretch. However, timestretch in any MPC is average at best. Also, don't worry about effects. Most people end up tracking their MPC into software like Cubase or Pro Tools LE. Both programs have plenty of effects....much more than these MPCs. Cubase also has timestretch (not sure about Pro Tools LE) that is much better than an MPC.

It seems you may be headed in a much better direction. I would certainly not buy a used MPC 1000. My advice is to continue to do your research. These other guys trying to steer you into buying something that they know is junk have ulterior motives I suspect.

Save for the 2500 get it loaded for about $1200 to $1600, be patient with your bidding on ebay. If you don't like it sell it and get a 1000. The difference between the two are the leather seats.lol

That's a female trait. Misery loves company..which is why you want another poor soul to buy something that is going to continually break down :lol:

Ahhh...don't get mad because I steered another customer from you :P You sound like a used car salesman in this threads.....its dishonest to attempt to sale someone a lemon when you are fully aware that it is a lemon. I think MPC 1000s should come with some sort of VIN number so you can tract how many times their pads were repaired or if they have the Nym-mod (just trademarked that name :lol: ) installed :lol:

hahaha that's hilarious
