60 Formats...

Wat formats can the 60 read??

i heard something about REX2... im pretty sure it reads SND... i just want to get drums load on it (when i get it)... using a zip drive.

Don't get too hung up on Rex files, chopping isn't that hard on a 60.

If you want the ease of rex files just use Battery or Kontakt, and use the 60 for what it's good at - sounding fat and sequencing.

i dont want any of the new mpcs... so im looking at a 60 or a 3k... or a sp1200

Wasn't the 60 made WAY before REX?

Only about 15 years before. Actually, after playing around with some rex's in cubase last night I think they're a tad overrated. I'd rather chop my own breaks I think.

the 60 reads ITS OWN .SND FILES!!!

60 .SND files are different than 3000, 2000, 2000xl and any other .SND files!!! just because they are .SND files, does not mean that the 60 will read them!

60s with OS version 3.10e installed have the ability to read 3000 .SND files...

that is the gist of it...
