Traveling.

Hi Peeps,

Basically im gonna be traveling soon and want to have a box / flight case for my mpc 1000. Dont really want to spend to much but have any of you got any suggestions i dont really want a bag...

i just have a nice padded laptop bag for my mpc. since i never stow it, it's always fine.

i carry my mpc EVVVVVERYwhere.

me too i've been using a laptop backpack i got at staples. works great.

can you bring the mpc1000 on the plane or do you have to check it in?? Or will it go through security checks for hours so you miss your flight???

Cool ended up going to B&Q today and found a perfect little flight case so ill just add padding and i should be on the way!

if people aren't lugging their 1000s around with them, i highly recommend it.

not carrying your mpc around is like not using the 'record' feature - you're missing out on one of the best parts!

i have a very large laptop bag/briefcase kinda thing. it is meant to have space for folders and papers but it easily holds the MPC1000, 2 laptops and assorted cables.... haven't had a chance yet to use it at the airport but it should fit easily under a seat...

no reason they shouldn't be able to send the MPC through the Xray machine and see it is in fact an electronic device which does not have a big blob of C4 inside.... unless of course you bring a MPC packed full of C4......
