Came across this list on wikipedia the other day. I never knew so many of the old school jams were sampled.

i say it all the time ,study up homie ,do your home work thats where rap music came from.

Has audio examples of LOTS of stuff sampled alongside the tune(s) that sampled 'em.




Increase your knowlegde by reading liner notes too. Most of 'em list stuff they've sampled.
