Software for converting sample cds to akai mpc4k format

Is there any software that can convert other sample formats to mpc4k format??? There should be some kind of application who can convert the audio AND the programs.

I used CDXtract. Works pretty good. It felt more solid to me than the chicken sys translator.

Is it possible with cdxtract to convert just a program instead of a whole image file?????

Othere wise i would have to make imagefiles of all my kits first to convert them

you can convert the program, or at the sample level as well. I wanted to convert an S1000 format CD so I just selected all the partitions on the CD-ROM and away it went giving me the S5000/6000 format.
