A Few mpc 2000xl questions-learning it, timing etc

First of all, how long did it take all u mpc 2000xl users to master it, also, when i sample a piece of music,melody etc,that i want playing throughout my entire beat,how do u i get the beat,to play at the same time as my sample,because when i press play,the beat will start,and then a bit later,the sample will kick in,when i want them both playing at same time,from start to finish

you need to trim your samples after you recorded them

ill never really master the mpc, until it masters me. im still doing shit differently from the day i first copped it.
