I don't even know if that's possible, but I'm looking for a way to set the parameters (like attack, filter, tune et cetera) for ALL pads in a program at once. On my EMU I can group samples and then edit the params for all samples in that group, all samples in the program or just a single sample. Do I really have to step through each pad on the MPC to change the parameters?!?

You can make some major changes with mpc editor software, but attack, decay, tuning etc. have to be edited manualy each pad...
I might be missing something but I've just checked it and it looks like I should be right :)

yeah, you're right. i've saved a few "template" programs out that i load up and use as basics for whatever i want to do. like one has all pads in mono, one has all pads in one-shot, etc.

Thanks for your replies. Templates are a good idea but not what I was looking for. The reason I was asking is that I have often sounds chopped to 16 or whatever parts. While working on a track I might be curious how it sounds when I pitch it up or filter it or you know... just playing around. Of course it's not a big deal to adjust the settings for each pad but it would be nice to set all at once anyway. Maybe I'm just spoiled from the EMU ;)

@ derMole, no there is no program wide feature like that, you'll have to make templates for yourself and save them. You can only individually do this for each pad. That's it, that's all you get.

I dont think that there is......but i could be wrong. You check the manual, I lost mine sooo I'll just be pro-active and download a free one from akaipro so that I won't have any excuses for not having one.
