i **** wit the loops when i can if they dont got too much shit goin on and its a loop thats the perfect sample u can go on like crazy wit a 4 to 16 sound piano loop

Loops. Preferably from the early to mid seventies. Also a lot of Rhodes loops. Yes.

I look for loops from old soul muisc from late 60's early 70's. I look for loops, Instrument hitsexample. Horns with some Strings ands then layer a kick over it with a hi hat, that always sounds pretty dope.

I got a crush for Rhodes samples and "specially Rhodes-Loops"

but Sax can be nice or something real mellow and then have some ruff drums to make a contrast in the beat.

my fav type of sample is anything with only a chick singing and nasty azz congos!

i like the rhodes too, i copped a 4 peice record set of some guy, by himself playing the rhodes, its sample kingdom for real.

i like horns, and stuff alot too, but i find Just Blaze uses them alot and i dont want people to think im biting him.

Ive been sampleing alot of movie score latly, i watch movies on my laptop, with the audio routed threw my DJ mixer, so if i find something, i just skip back and sample into the MP.

sample whatever sounds good to you, and flip it your way. sometimes ileave the sample whole, and build the track around it. sometimes i chop super small and lay the sample in afte the drums are done.

try new things, you never know what you will find.
