hy, there.
i am desperately trying to get the best out of my last true love,
my mpc 1000, when it comes to BASS.
i had my live-act (minimal-techno) set up the way that i used to make beats on the mpc, and let ableton-live do the rest with loops.
so the bass came from software.
but - it has no PUNCH !!
so i decided to get hold of a cool bass-sample CD.
after the converting, renaming (see other topics....)
i am now ready to get some bass into my dear one.
what is the best way to get easy bass-lines out of the mpc?
should i create a program with the best bass-samples and do the bassline by using the slider to create different notes ?
or:
would you create a bass-program per sound and load all the samples of one sound in different keys, to play them back this way ?
what do you guys do ?
thanks for your input
