my 2000xl is blank!!

i bought a used mpc2000xl off the internet and got it in the mail today.
i went to power it up and the lights come on but nothing happens, the screen is blank. please somebody help me out.

maybe you can adjust the contrast. hold shift then press 8. then hold shift and spin the data wheel to the right.

that really sucks man - contact the seller and see whats good? maybe a new screen? goodluck.

could it be a bad motherboard or chip? if so i'll try and get a refund. if not i'll try to fix myself if possible. i got it really cheap so i would love to revive this thing ya know

open it up and see if the floppy, zip, or card reader cable is not connected? maybe. not sure. nver opened shit before.a ight. good luck keep us posted

return the sample for the one you bought it from and get your money back and buy your self a working one!
