Does anyone know if there is some kind of rack or stand for the mpc 1000? Im breaking my neck leaning over to get a good look of the screen and always leave the studio with neck pains! Right now im putting a dictionary underneath it to get a better angle but it is not steep enough. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated, aswell as websites/stores that might have what Im looking for.

Thanks.

Thanks Jiggsaw... Thats pretty much what I expected. Can you get a steep angle and is it sturdy?

Yeah I remember that form a while back. It's much sturdier than the other one's I've seen, and it has more of an angle too.
If you got the desktop space (or whatever surface available), then that's your best bet.

If you want a separate stand alltogether, I'd suggest the On-Stage Stands Mix-400.

I bought one a few months ago and it's a good stand.
All you need to do is get a 1/2" thick piece of board and cut it down to 14 3/4" x 12", so you have a stable surface between the rails and the mpc.

these look good, but what I need is something that will hold an MPC at an angle, but that will sit flat on a desk, and have space to put things underneath it.

The way things are right now, I have my MIDI keyboard on a small desk, and would like the MPC very close by, but there is not enough room on the same desk for it.

Is there anything that could elevate my MPC while the keyboard sits underneath it on the desk?

I may just have to build it, but if anyone knows something I could always buy it instead

Yeah, I love it. I don't think I could live without it.

No neck problems for me.. I jsut use a wooden dinner tray to sit my MPC on ( seems like it was built for that) and i see everything just fine

i guess the mp has to be at the right elevation

This thing looks perfect for what i need it for as far as the top (holder) is concerned. But, i am using mine for live performance and have a pedaltrain pedal board. I would love to be able to screw a mic stand type pole into something that would attach to my pedal board.....and then have this stand's top shown here. Any suggestions?? (Besides bong hits and home depot ;) ??)

then i'd be happy

I use my 1000 on my lap at the moment (not great)
