Hey y'all, whats up. Well, I'm just getting into MIDI, trying to do something new as I have normally just been sampling. Anyways, I was setting up my Yamaha DGX-200 keyboard to my MPC, I had the midi in of the keyboard to the midi out of the mpc and the midi out of the keyboard to the midi in of the mpc. Alright, heres where the problem is. I recorded a drum line onto my mpc then made a new track and switched it to Midi and to the correct device thingie. So I record the me playing the keyboard over the drum line. All is well. But when it plays back, the mpc is only playing the drum track, and the speakers through my keyboard are only playing the the melody I just played with the keyboard. What I want to do is have them together so I can just press play on the mpc and everything plays together. Cuz like now, if I turn the volume on my keyboard all the way down then press play on the MPC, then only the drum track plays. Can anyone help me out here?
