Data entry jog wheel (i.e. Attention Nym)

i've got a 2000xl that needs it's encoder and fader changed. maybe some of the buttons too. i've opened it up but am hesitant to pull the parts off the board to check for numbers. anyone got parts numbers for this?

call VST or any nearby service station...or remove the pieces and scan them. unfortunately i dont have "service manuals" or i'd know

ya that service manual would be helpful. i took a look at vst but i agree with your previous post that it would be nice to find the part on mouser. i pulled out the parts and they didn't have any numbers. the encoder on my 2000xl is made by alps. thats the only thing on it. but i looked around on mouser and found this one...

which specs out to be about the same. i've got no idea if it'll work but i figure what the hell. i'll pop it in and see. i'll let you guys know. i also found the fader but the minimum order is for 1300. and thats a few more than i need. so i'm trying to find another distributor. any suggestions?

also, you know what model the tact switches are. i've got a few sticky ones and figured it order it all at once.
