geeeezz, went to see a local band tonight can't help to think how nice it would be to have all the gear they were rockin'. fender rhodes 73, korg, hammond, mad percussion,trombone, sax, bass, guitars, huge stacks of speakers, cables, mics, and racks of outboard...if only i could hit lotto..

As far as FX and outboard gear:
Engineers and producers that have big studios/work at big studios, only use some pieces of hardware.The rest of the stuff there is because they have clients that only like this reverb unit, or that mic preamp with the specific compressor attached.

If i would hit lotto i wouldnt change so much on my setup....i would buy´a pro tools system or something like that to have a good HD recording unit.A better mixer to go with that and thats it.And maybe a A/D converter to add more ins to it so i can have 16 instead of 8.

Nahh... I'm definitely a big Gear Junkie... If I had the money I'd own ever classic drum machine... I'd own the following:
1) SP-1200
2) ASR-10
3) TR-808
4) Fender Rhodes Stage Piano
5) Hammond B-3 Organ
6) MPC 60
7) Avalon 747 Compressor

And well.... You get the idea.... Now if only I could train Koala's to rob a bank (an ingenious plan if I could pull it off)

I'm not really a gear whore, if I had serious dough, only things I'd lust for is a pro tools HD system, some really really top of the line monitors, a nice BLUE mic, they make illy stuff, and a vocal booth and ofcourse my own record shop so I can dig all day. You can be a gear whore, I'll be a vinyl slut till the day I die...
