Trying to get mac osx to work with my mpc and am having real difficulties (nothing wants to work with anything else). Gear I have is said MPC, plextor cdrw, iomega zip and belkin scsi usb adapter. Using MPC program maker software that should allow for file conversions so I can save to plextor then read this with mpc and save to iomega zip. It's not bloody happening! Can anyone help....Cheers, Rich

Which version of Mac OSX are you using?
Which version of MPCPGMMaker are you using?
I use the program with my MPC3000 everyday.
I have G4/400 souped up to 1.4ghz w/ OS10.28.

Why don't you try saving directly on to the Zip disk? Skip the CDRW for a test. The only thing I can think of that would be a problem is the Belkin adapter. I use an internal Zip disk on the Mac and an old skool SCSi ZIp on the MPC.

Good luck.

I'm running OSX 10.3.3 with Mpc Pgm maker v1.0.6 and a 250USB Zip & MPC internal zip and have no problem transferring samples.

1 point though. Make sure you are saving your samples as Windows Wave NOT wav as there appears to be a diff. This is what I have to do whewn using Sound Studio, so it may just be that. You can get diff kinds of wav's so that might be an issue.
