I know that when you slice a sample and choose to create new program, the samples will cut each other off when you play a pattern... But samples from different programs are being cut off in my sequences for no **** reason... How can I stop this?

MODE P7, F3 top right corner, set it to POLY not MONO

^Tried that and no luck, of course... It's samples that are unrelated to each other that are cutting each other off.. For example, I'll lay down my samples, then I'll try to lay down drums and the drums are somehow making samples cut off... Really pissing me off. I think other people were having this same problem and there was no fix... Except some people just made new programs and that seemed to work.. I guess that's what I'll have to do since mothafookin akai/jj can't give the mpc2500 a REAL Operating System.

In addition to above, the drums that I'm laying down are from a totally seperate program.. so it has nothing to do with me.. it's this bunghole machine.

Checked your polyphony ? and mute assigments in P11 ?

I was actually getting the same problem last night. I wasn't sure if I exceeded the polyphony of the MPC or if it was an OS bug/error.

Anyone have a remedy for this?

Have the same problem, with 15 notes of polyphony, with POLY mode, with no "MUTE TARGET" and no "MUTE GROUP". A very critical bug!

Instead of highlighting the folder and loading everything, I loaded the programs seperate and it didn't give me this problem.
Very strange, but I think this is the way to get around it.
Go to Mode>Other and view how many voices it's using. When this error happens, it'll say you're using 16 voices when you're not even playing anything. At least that's how it is for me...
Hopefully this'll help...
