Best way to transfer between PC n MPC? help!!

First timer on the site. hope some one can help me out here. Gotta MPC2000xl with a zip drive but need the whole set up to be more user friendly with my PC. Basically i wanna transfer between PC n MPC n visa versa. whats the best option? CD rom external hard drive or MCD oh yeah n what the hell is an MCD n what will it do n is it hard to fit etc. Any help would be appreciated. Im scratchin a hole in my head man![/b]
