Does it work just like before this long >power on< time ? Did you find any problems recently after that ?
Anyway, why did you leave it for 4 weeks straight ? :D
You try to catch up with your beats or maybe have so many ideas that you want to put them right away into machine?

You can't be serious. You do realize that you can SAVE, right? It comes with a compact flash card.

I dunno about todays displays but some years ago I would turn off my s1000 just to save its display.

i also don,t understand, when i,m leaving my studio, i pull out the main power cable so nothing even get,s any power. i,m just to scared for lightning or what ever, and loose everything i worked my ass of for. ive got power savers, but i don,t thrust em that much.

we even had the power company making a big mistake, putting 380 volts on the 220 volts power lines for an hour, everything elektric in the whole neightbourhood broken. was i glad i pulled of the power line when i,m away. call me paranoid, but it does feel a lot safer.

I do that too. Paranoid? So what...I call it being precocious.

ya guys... i just got it so i only have the 32 mb CF card and i was working on a massive song which i could never have saved... but i recorded it all to my computer and turned off the MPC so you can all sleep tonight (it still works perfectly)... i'm going to get the internal hard drive next week.

you're definitely not precocious dude!
