playing the pads?

anyone know y mpc pads r not in note order,like my boy has a mv8000 and all the pads r in almost the same order as a keyboard which kind makes it easier to play pads on key.but the mpc seems to hgave notes kinda scattered so if you wanted to ploay a keyboard part with the pads youll have to reall hit all the pads till it sounds right,can this be rearranged?

they can indeed be rearranged although i use the JJ OS youll have to explore maybe the program menu?

ic well im also using a jj os 3.0 i think does that make a difference also what version r u using? did he do this in one of his os?
