Sup, i'm a little confused with want I need and what I dont need.

Iv'e good my new MPC witch I learned pretty much how to handle now. Now I am thinking of a cheap turn table Just to take some samples! I aint looking for all this DJ setup or anything, just for a simple turn table. Ive heard from someone that you HAVE to buy a dj mixer when you buy a turn table.. I dunno if its true, i want yall to tell me what you think should be the best for me.. I dont have many equipment, I'm gonna use my dad's keyboard soon too. Should I also buy a MIXER ?? or can i just plug my pc, my futur turntable and keyboard in my MPC!?.. I'm all confused, need some advice from anyone.

Dont forget I'm only looking for basic stuff !! Only take sample from a venyl song and work on that on my mpc is my goal for the moment!

Thanks!

youll only have to have a preamp for your record player. could be a cheapo 9v battery powered radioshack type, a component stereo system, mixer, many options if you just need to get the sound into be sampled.

i forgot about that usb tt option. the preamps built in on those. would be a most streamlined way to do it if youre already gonna use the pc.
