Possible to control pad volume levels with external CC?

Hi im wondering if this is possible. I tried to work out the CC;s for pad volumes with the q link but its not storing it as control change in the mpc at least not that i can see in event edit. ALso its not sending it out the midi out. Without being able to send this value im unable to learn it from my enternal controller. I cant find any detail in the manual for the midi specs also.

EDIT: i did manage to find the answer here eventually after many many searches. Seems it cant be done but maybe JJ with add this feature. Only way seems to use an external audio mixer and use level control.

Its hard to believe akai missed some fundamental functions after 5 revisions of the MPC concept. Damn id love to control pitch and pad volumes with bcr2000.

however, i'm resigned to just using the qlink for now.

maybe in future versions of the NEXT jj os for the 1000 (and i mean NEXT os, not future updates to the current os)

some potentially big things could happen.
