New mpc 1k, add new OS?

I should be getting my mpc 1k in the mail tomarrow, and I was wondering if I should learn how to use the original program before adding the JJ program. I deffinately want to order the JJ OS eventually, but would it be easier to learn the basics with original OS or do they work the same with simply more features? Also, where the hell do I get the JJ manual in english?

O.K. I've pretty much decided to go with JJ right away, but the link that you sent me is the same one I've been checking out and most of it is not translated in english. Do you have to figure it out by the pictures or something like that? Is there a bible or DVD for JJ? I forgot to check your name, but thank you for responding...
