PRO TOOLS ? ? ?

Yeah saw them for around 600 - 700 bucks and then I figured I get an MBOX for around 300 hundred and I'll be straight. Thanks

~U dont need a MAC to run the mbox or the digi 002/digi002 rack! Mbox, digi 002/digi 002 rack run good on pc if u have good specs on yur pc tho!

~Just remember that the mbox only has 2 inputs!
~The digi002/digi 002 rack has 8 inputs!

I misunderstood your original post, I thought you had the MBox, PT won't work without Digi hardware. Go to the Digidesign website and browse through the different products then click on Support> User Conference> go down to the Host Systems section and browse the Mac and PC forums. According to people actually using these systems the Athlon 64 is outperforming the G5 whith PT for about 1/2 to 1/3 the cost. The best advice I could give you is to take your time and do your research so you don't end up with a system that causes more headaches then creativity.
