I had taken like 10 or 11 very small .wav files from my PC and transfered them to the MPC500 with a brand new memory card (drag-and-drop) I did it all at the same time, and then I was only able to hear one of the samples (the first one). Then I went back, and tried to do them one at a time, and when I listened to it after each file transfer, I still was unable to listen to more than one. And it even shows up under windows explorer that the file has been transfered to the card, so I don't know what the hell happened and why I can't hear them all. Anybody know why???

Easy mate, I had a similar problem.

I would check that your sample rate is correct. I tend to work in 24bit 48Khz so I had the wrong sample rate.

Just convert all your .WAV files to 16bit, 44.1Khz stereo or mono is fine.

Hope it helps
