your HONEST favorite type of sample

solo licks that i can chop down into peices

Vocal, Strings, Piano..

loops too, but i rather chop it up and rearrange it in my own way.

Orchestras, jazz flute, chicago blues guitar.

Percussion

solo violins. Dramatic Orchestral

The main thing is that i need something that isn't repetitive. I like to sample 2 min of a song so i like something that has a good build. THen when i go to work, it's easy to have alot of variation with my chops. I don't really care what genra but i mostly like soul with alot of strings and piano.

anything that sounds different from the ordinary with weird sounds. perferably soul...but still the psychedelic hippie music ha ha.
